YOUR AI CREW / 4 MINUTES
Give your crew the right tools
Connect an account, choose the tools, and check whose name is on the envelope.
Your little win: Understand account connections, role grants and exact-action approval.
01 / SEE HOW IT FITS
The big picture, in little steps.
Connect the intended account
Search the integration catalog in Settings and finish the provider’s connection flow. Check the account label. LinkedIn also requires the intended person or page identity and suitable provider scopes.
02 / YOUR TURN
Have a little go.
This is your practice table. Everything stays here—no account, real AI calls, or changes to Seerist.
Setting out the pencils…
03 / DO IT IN SEERIST
Ready for the real thing?
Before you start: The customer’s provider account and suitable owner/admin permissions.
- 1
Connect the intended account
Search the integration catalog in Settings and finish the provider’s connection flow. Check the account label. LinkedIn also requires the intended person or page identity and suitable provider scopes.
- 2
Enable capabilities
In Project hub → Tools, select the exact account and employee roles, then Enable recommended capabilities. Advanced discovery allows explicit tool grants. Provider setup and available capabilities vary.
- 3
Understand the mode
Eligible reads and supported reversible internal work can run automatically. External and consequential actions require review of the exact payload; connecting an account grants no blanket authority.
- 4
Review before execution
Check recipient, account, action and arguments. Organization owners/admins approve external/consequential execution. MCP connections have their own grants and review flow; an unknown provider outcome needs inspection before another attempt.
A little thing to rememberProject hub → Tools is for employee capabilities. Studio development connections and read-only repository knowledge have separate jobs.
Opens the real app in a new tab. Sign in and check the selected workspace before acting.
Take a little note with you.
About this lesson
Checked September 13, 2026 against app source a365066. Based on docs/connected-workspace.md; docs/mcp-connections.md. This is a source-based guide, not a claim that every provider action was live-tested.
